Jay R. Gajavelli

Founder and CEO

Jay R. Gajavelli is the Founder and CEO of Applesway Investment Group. Jay has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering. Born and raised in India, Jay moved to US 20 years ago as Computer Consultant and worked for many reputed firms like Ford, GM, Department of Defense (DoD), Caterpillar, AT&T, Koch, etc. in US corporate sector for more than 16 years. Jay received “Security Clearance” at “Secret Level” from Department of Defense(DoD) while working on a project with DoD. Jay has 10+ years of experience in running an IT Consulting Company. Jay acquired 8,000+ units of Multifamily Apartments with market value of $800 M+ so far.

Jay became US citizen in 2007. He has passion to build win/win long term relationships with sellers, brokers, and realtors in the multifamily industry. His hobbies include Reading, Music, and Yoga. The causes he care about: Children, Environment, and Disaster & Humanitarian Relief. The Organizations he supports: American Red Cross, United Way Worldwide, Make-A-Wish America, World Vision, Chair The Love, Anthony Robbins Foundation, and Joel Osteen/Lakewood Church

Paddy Rao

Asset Manager

Paddy is asset manager for Applesway Investment Group. Paddy has Bachelor’s degree in Sciences and Master’s degree in Bio-Chemistry. She worked in teaching, IT industry for more than 10 years before she became asset manager at Applesway Investment Group.

Her hobbies include: Gardening, Web surfing, Music.

Michael Liggett

Investors Relationship Manager

Michael has 20+ years experience in the Real Estate and Oil and Gas sectors. Michael grew up in Real Estate with his father having built, bought, or sold more than 20 properties consisting of Multifamily, Commercial, SFH projects. Michael has worked with investors and developers in the purchase, development in both the Real Estate and Oil and Gas sectors and is passionate about sourcing deals that are both lucrative and equitable for both investors and sponsors.

Michael lives in the Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas with his wife Katharine and daughter Lemon Lucile. Michael has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Management and enjoys cooking for friends and family, live music, and shooting sports.
